TRAETWOTHREE Releases New Project ‘Out the District’

R&B

R&B newcomer TRAETWOTHREE has released his debut mixtape, Out the District, via Nick Cannon’s Ncredible, in partnership with Art@War and Atlantic Records.

The 11-track project includes guest features from Blueface, DDG, DW Flame and Justina Valentine.

The South Central, Los Angeles, California, native says Out the District is an introduction to him as an artist. “It’s important that I let people know that I come from the Crenshaw District,” says TRAETWOTHREE.

“Most artists coming out of South LA are rappers, but I’m an R&B artist who brings a different sound that people never heard before…Overall, when people listen to Out the District, I want them to just enjoy the vibes.”

Out the District includes the latest focus track “Keep Doing You,” which arrives with an accompanying video directed by Okezie Kenneth Nobuisi.

“I wanted to create a song and visual that shows my appreciation for women — especially women of color… encouraging them to be their true authentic selves,” he says of the empowering song.

Ahead of Out the District, TRAETWOTHREE appeared on Cannon’s R&B-inspired album, The Explicit Tape: Raw & Bon “Got Hoes.” The album also boasts features from Brandy, Chris Brown, K. Michelle and Jacquees.

“TRAETWOTHREE is a fresh new voice in R&B. I have the same feeling about him as I did when I found Kehlani,” says Cannon.
