Polish unit Deivos have been a consistent force in the technical death metal underground since the late ’90s, releasing a slew of albums after a demo and EP. Their latest, Apophenia, is due for release via Selfmadegod later this month and Decibel has a preview of the album in the form of latest track “My Sacrifice.”
The new song is relatively straightforward in its construction, driven by sharp guitar riffs and a chaotic but tight performance by drummer Krzysztof Saran.
“‘My Sacrifice’ is about the things that are sacrificed for a false promise of a better life after death,” explains vocalist Hubert Banach.
Apophenia is out on October 18.
