In a move that will make some folks mad and others really stoked, Spiritbox just collaborated with Megan Thee Stallion to release a remix of her song, “Cobra.”
The Canadian metalcore band redid the rap icons song, which is already wracking up views on YouTube.
While Megan Thee Stallion has made headlines as an iconic rapper who defies gender norms, Spiritbox have recently been having their moment in the spotlight as well. Their latest EP, The Fear Of Fear, was recently released on Rise Records.
The Fear of Fear follows their debut record Eternal Blue, out in 2021 and the Rotoscope EP, out in 2022. Spiritbox have also been touring a lot this year and releasing videos to accompany their recent EP.
