Queen Naija and Big Sean have released an accompanying video for their new track, “Hate Our Love.”
With a quick intro from DJ Envy of The Breakfast Club, the Cam Busby-directed video opens with the two artists performing their first verses from their respective homes in New York City.
Big Sean keeps it cool as he raps from his front porch, while Naija, dressed in white lingerie, sings comfortably from her couch. Later at night, the two meet up for performance shots out in the snow.
Speaking on her latest single, Naija said in a statement, “What I’d like for people to take away from ‘Hate Our Love’ is don’t let anybody come in between anything or anyone that you love.”
She added, “I’m so excited to finally collaborate with Big Sean on a record…it’s been a dream of mine for a while now. With both of us being from Detroit, it felt like the perfect match up and I hope everyone loves the song!”
“Hate Our Love” is Naija’s first song as the lead artist since 2021’s Missunderstood…Still, the deluxe edition of her debut album, Missunderstood.
Last year, appeared on a range of songs, including Koryn Hawthorn’s “Speak To Me,” Jacquees’ “Bed Friend,” Hitmaka’s “Quickie,” Ar’Mon & Trey’s “Chanel” and Lil Poppa’s “Love & War (Remix).”
