Lucha Libre Masks, Bong Hits, Solitary Headbanging, Some Weird B-Movie...It's a Rottenness Video Demo!

Here at Decibel, we’ve been keeping you abreast of the rotting breast of Rottenness for well over a decade — do a site search and you’ll find stuff going back to 2012 — and just as we don’t seem to be stopping, neither do these Mexican-American death metallers. This time the news is all about their new, four song (well, three and an intro) Fatal Cerebral Lesions video/demo stream which comes in advance of a series of dates in the Pacific Northwest and proximal to the Gulf of Mexico (see tour poster below). But enough out of me; here the band are with all the pertinent details…

“Hola y saludos, Rottenness here with another fresh offering of Mexican brutal death metal, this time debuting our new lineup consisting of the husband-and-wife death metal duo, Rene Martinez (ex-Stabbing, Flesh Hoarder) and Meryl Martinez (ex-Stabbing)!! We recorded this demo DIY as fuck, individually tracking in California, Texas, Minnesota, and Merida, Mexico, and had the amazing Insidious Soundlab (https://www.insidioussoundlab.com/) mix and master it. We also had a very talented artist from Cyprus, Horsefukker666 (https://www.instagram.com/horsefukker666/), provide the stipple-art drawing for the album cover. We decided to include a Brujeria cover as a bonus track in memory of Pinche Peach and Juan Brujo, two metal legends who sadly passed away last year after a lifetime of carrying the torch of Mexican extreme music. In addition to releasing this new music, we are excited to announce a slew of USA dates in April and May, we hope to see a bunch of amigos on the road and party hard with all of you sick ass foos… salud a todos, y nos vemos pronto!”
