Lady Wray Performs ‘Come On In’ on ‘The Late Show’

R&B

Tomorrow (Jan. 28) is a big day for Lady Wray. It’s the birth date of her sophomore album, Piece of Me, out via Big Crown Records.

In preparation for its arrival, Wray, once known as Nicole Wray, stopped by The Late Show with Stephen Colbert to perform “Come On In.”

Wray, surrounded by a talented band and backing vocalists, struck a chord with guests in-studio and at-home watchers with her message of old-fashioned love and bluesy and gusty utterance.

Ahead of releasing Piece Of Me, Wray has introduced audiences to six out of the 12 tracks. A few of those included the gospel-informed “Thank You” and the latest, “Joy & Pain.”

Back in October, Wray teamed up with Rated R&B for a video premiere of “Under the Sun.” It, too, appears on Piece of Me
