Hip Hop

Jermaine Dupri is taking the roasting he got over his Super Bowl fit in his stride, and while he’s chuckling along at all the jokes, he’s really laughing all the way to the bank.

The super producer was the butt of many jokes on social media following his appearance at the big game Sunday (February 11.) He was widely ridiculed for his Halftime Show fit after donning a short suit accessorized with white ankle socks.

Netizens were quick with the memes, with users claiming they mistook him for Ceelo Green, while others compared him to the fictional Munchkins of Charlie and The Chocolate Factory fame.

On Monday (February 12) Jermaine Dupri showed his sense of humor while responding to critics of his Super Bowl fit. He shared a photo of his $565 Louis Vuitton “pocket socks,” alongside a pair of memes making fun of him.

“Haaa!! ok I ain’t have time for y’all last night I was too drunk,” Jermaine Dupri penned in the caption. “Me and my homies performed at the Super Bowl! so I’m just really seeing y’all got me f##### up !! But I will say it’s funny as hell, yoooo!!”

Dupri also tagged Pharrell Williams to take a look at all the jokes. “You see this !?” he asked. “PS we came into this game with our clothes on backwards, i ain’t no regular n####.”
