The collaboration between Jay-Z, D’Angelo, and filmmaker-musician Jeymes Samuel for the new movie The Book of Clarence is here. “I Want You Forever” was described by the director as “nine minutes and 32 seconds of absolute soulful, biblical bliss” in an interview. This collaboration is a fusion of music and cinema, also highlights the creative relationship between Jay-Z and Samuel. They also worked on 2021’s The Harder They Fall together as well.

Technically each song on the soundtrack of the film credits Samuel, also known as The Bullitts musically and features the other artists. Lil Wayne, Buju Banton, Shabba Ranks, Doja Cat and Kodak Black and others are featured on the diverse soundtrack.

The Book of Clarence is a biblical comedy-drama that features Lakeith Stanfield in the lead role. The film co-stars David Oyelowo, Micheal Ward, Alfre Woodard, Teyana Taylor, Omar Sy, RJ Cyler, Anna Diop, Caleb McLaughlin, Eric Kofi-Abrefa, Marianne Jean-Baptiste, James McAvoy, and others.
