A few weeks ago, we premiered ‘Under the Influence,’ the first single from WyndRider’s sophomore album, Revival. Well, guess what? Now we have the whole shebang.
Revival, recorded, mixed, and mastered by the talented Danielle Fehr at The Wizard Productions in Bristol, TN, dives deep into the raw essence of Appalachian life. The album infuses a heavy Southern groove that perfectly captures the smoke and mirrors of life in the Bible Belt. WyndRider has taken their signature stoner doom sound to new heights, delivering a powerful exploration of themes that hit close to home.
The band elaborates on the album’s lyrical content: “We wanted to write about what’s real to us: fear, addiction, manipulation, and how the Church controls all of it.” This honesty and authenticity shine through every track, making Revival a gripping and relatable journey.
