The reason you don’t see an image of the members of black metal mob Cross Bringer accompanying this post, is due to the fact that the four person collective—Lina (vocals), Sanya (guitars), Artemy (bass/synths), Michael (drums)—is spread across Belgium, Russia, US and Cyprus. But as we know that’s not a dealbreaker when it comes to collaborating musically as evidenced by the results on their blistering second full-length, Healismus Aeturnus. This 30-minute, five-tracker is a masterclass in sonic tension, shifting from atonal to melodic in just the right moments.
Healismus Aeturnus is a co-release between Consouling Sounds and Silent Pendulum and is set for release on vinyl, cassette, CD and digitally on February 21. Place your preorder here (EU) or here (US).
Vocalist Lina had this to say about the new full-length:
“Healismus Aeternus marks our bold return, pushing deeper into the chaotic depths of the human psyche. This album is an audacious exploration of relentless heaviness and melodic intricacy, where every note and passage are carefully woven into a journey through the labyrinth of spiritual delusion.”
