Ful Album Stream: Hexenbrett –Dritte Beschwörung: Dem Teufel eine Tochter

Metal

German duo Hexenbrett, consisting of Josto Feratu and Scarlettina Bolétt (who both play “everything”), are back with their second full-length, Dritte Beschwörung: Dem Teufel eine Tochter, which Google tells us translates into “Third Incantation: A Daughter to the Devil.” Make of that what you will, but what’s certain is this pair makes some haltingly unique music that somehow incorporates horror-show cinematics, flashy guitar shred and unhinged vocals sung in German. It’s a refreshingly weird and powerful combo, expertly executed with maximum dramatics. We have no idea what these songs are about, but there’s a definite culty, dark vibe to the whole package.

Dritte Beschwörung: Dem Teufel eine Tochter is set to be issued on vinyl, CD, cassette and digitally on December 20 via Dying Victims Productions. You can place a preorder here or here.

The duo had this to say about their latest effort:

“After an intense rollercoaster ride that was writing, rehearsing and recording this output, we are more than proud to finally present you our second full-length record. It’s now time to escape the known and dive headfirst into the darkest but also brightest moments we’ve ever offered our listeners. Embrace the weird; normality is surrender!”
