Eddie Van Halen is the latest prominent metal musician to get the Pop! vinyl figurine treatment from Funko.
Eddie’s son and bandmate, Wolfgang Van Halen, tweeted out the news earlier yesterday (December 9):
“Pop signed off on this way back in 2019 and it’s wonderful to see it finally come to fruition. So stoked with how it turned out!”
The figure is scheduled to be released in January, and can be pre-ordered here.
Other notable metal musicians and bands that have been turned into Funko Pop!s include Metallica, Guns N’ Roses, Kiss, Slipknot, Slayer, Def Leppard, Mötley Crüe, Lemmy, Angus Young, Rob Zombie, Marilyn Manson, Papa Emeritus, Babymetal, Eddie the Head, Bret Michaels, and Jonathan Davis.
There’s reportedly one of Twisted Sister’s Dee Snider in the works as well, although no official announcement has been made.
