Dvsn Covers Justin Bieber’s ‘All That Matters’ for Spotify Singles

R&B

Dvsn (vocalist Daniel Daley and producer Nineteen85) has teamed up with Spotify for its Spotify Singles. As part of the campaign, the duo recorded a stripped-down rendition of their latest single, “If I Get Caught.”

Working with a simple, guitar-laden production, Daley’s remarkable vocal illuminates thoroughly all through the reworked version.

In addition to prescribing fans an alternative edit of “If I Get Caught,” dvsn also covered Justin Bieber’s 2014 track “All That Matters.” The platinum-selling song is taken from Bieber’s Journals project.

So far, dvsn has shared “If I Get Caught” as the lead single from their forthcoming fourth album. The track, which samples JAY-Z’s classic “Song Cry,” was released on July 22 via OVO Sound/Warner Records. Jermaine Dupri and Bryan-Michael Cox co-assisted Nineteen85 on the production, and they also co-wrote it with Daley.

On Spotify, “If I Get Caught” has generated more than 1.5 million streams on the platform. It recently debuted at No. 20 on Billboard’s Hot R&B Songs chart, marking the pair’s third appearance on the list.

Aside from collaborating with Dupri and Cox on what is self-described as a “real R&B album,” dvsn has entered an Atlanta studio with Jagged Edge and Sean Garrett, among others.

Dvsn’s next album is the follow-up to their 2020 album, A Muse In Her Feelings. It earned a top ten placement on Rated R&B’s 30 Best R&B Albums list later that year. Then, the album was expanded and renamed Amusing Her Feelings at the beginning of 2021. The duo would collaborate with Ty Dolla $ign months after, dishing out a collaborative project titled Cheers to the Best Memories.

On Aug. 12, dvsn head out to Toronto, Canada, to perform Manifesto Festival. Other R&B-centric performers include Jazmine Sullivan, Amaal and Dylan Sinclair.

Then, on Sept. 16, they’ll take the YouTube Theater stage in Inglewood, California, for a Femme It Forward-powered concert. Tickets for both shows are here
