Video Premiere: Mausoleum – “Curse of the Tomb”

Metal

Mausoleum

Mausoleum, the infernal purveyors of zombiecult death metal, rise once again from the depths of the macabre. Allied in a pact with renowned label Moribund Records, they are preparing to release their first full-length since 2011. Defiling the Decay is out this Friday, and you can check out the video for “Curse of the Tomb” from the record below.

This heavy and gruesome record will be the third full-length release from the band. These nine tracks of gut-wrenching horror and death promise to engulf you in a torrent of old-school brutal death metal. Zombiecult Death Metal is back!

“‘Defiling the Decayed’ dives into horror in many forms, not just gore and zombies,” the band say about the song. Each song has its own unique story, and together they create a haunting experience throughout the album.

“We’ve been working on the songs for years, showing our growth as a band. We’ve developed our style over time, yet still influenced by bands like Autopsy, early Death, and Necrophagia. We aimed to keep the core elements that make a Mausoleum track!

“‘Curse of the Tomb’ is our first music video. We collaborated with the Moribund team to create visually striking concepts that match our music’s dark themes and energy.

“Signing with Moribund Records is a big step for us, and we’re thrilled to be part of their roster. Working with Odin has been great, and we look forward to future projects with Moribund and continuing to create and release more music together!
