Track Premiere: Krysthla – ‘Unto the Loveless’

Metal

UK extreme metal outfit Krysthla have been plying their craft for nearly a decade now, releasing three albums and touring with the likes of Decapitated and Vader, as well as making appearances at various European festivals. Their upcoming album, The River, is coming later this summer and while we wait for details to solidify on that, we have the first taste of new music in the form of “Unto the Loveless.”

From a songwriting and production standpoint, “Unto the Loveless” feels very modern. Leading with machine-like blast beats and high-speed chugging, Krysthla are super tight. Vocalist Adi Mayes causes the band to stand out a bit, his approach being different than a lot of the death metal bands Krysthla has associated with; on “Unto the Loveless,” most of his vocals are delivered in a style closer to a yell than a scream. All together, it’s a unique package with enough blast beats to make any Decibel reader happy.

Check out the song and its accompanying performance video below. Follow Krysthla to keep up with new album announcements.
