Bill Cody To Host New Circle Network Series ‘History Of Country Music’

CIRCLE network will debut the new, original series “History of Country Music,” on THURSDAY, JANUARY 12th.

Hosted by CIRCLE personality and RYMAN HOSPITALITY Country WSM-A/NASHVILLE “COFFEE, COUNTRY & CODY” morning show host BILL CODY, the show “chronicles Country music’s golden years and the albums, artists and advancements that made them historic,” according to the network’s description, while providing “context around how Country grew and expanded through political and social commentary.”

The weekly show begins with the year 1977, then explores 1989 in its JANUARY 19th episode, and 1969 in its JANUARY 26th episode.

CODY, a 2008 inductee in the COUNTRY RADIO HALL OF FAME, simulcasts his WSM show on CIRCLE, and launched the series “BILL CODY PRESENTS” on CIRCLE last year, an eight-episode series of one-hour interviews with guests including MARTY STUART, PAM TILLIS and GARTH BROOKS
