Reggie Becton Releases ‘Issues’ Video

R&B

Situations will arise when things turn sour. Reggie Becton knows all about that process in his new video, “Issues.”

Directed by Chris & Moy, the video chronicles the days leading up to the demise of Becton’s relationship. Packing up to move across the country, he takes a look at a polaroid that stirs up memories that brought things to an end. Interestingly enough, the storyline for the video is inspired by a true story.

“Throughout college, I was in a situationship with a girl I met in high school, and from the
inception of our relationship we were always having ‘issues,’” Becton shared in a statment.

“Through the years we would always reconnect but go nowhere. The final collision in our ‘traffic’ came the night before I moved to LA. At that time, I think I was in such a fragile state due to preparing for this big move, not knowing how things would turn out, leaving family and friends behind, that when she didn’t come to see me, I was hurt.”

“Issues” will be featured on Becton’s upcoming album California, slated for an October release.
